Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Qudamah Al-Jumaili Al-Maqdisi, then Al-Dimashqi Al-Hanbali.
• A hadith jurist, born in Jama’il, a village in Jabal Nablus, Palestine. Then he traveled to Damascus, read the Qur’an, and heard many hadiths from his father, from Abu Al-Makarim Ibn Hilal, from Abu Al-Ma’ali bin Saber and others. Then he traveled to Baghdad with his cousin, Al-Hafiz Abdul-Ghani, and heard from its scholars, then returned to Damascus. He was an authority in the Hanbali school of thought.
